Our Story

Salawa Mission Health Centre was established by the Franciscan Missionaries of St. Joseph to provide quality, affordable healthcare to the people of Kerio Valley.

What began as a mission to serve the sick has grown into a trusted healthcare facility offering outpatient, inpatient, laboratory, pharmacy, maternal and community health services.

Today, we continue to serve our community with faith, compassion and professional excellence.

Hospital Founded

Salawa Mission Health Centre was established by the Franciscan Missionaries of St. Joseph to provide affordable and compassionate healthcare.

2012

Laboratory Expanded

Modern laboratory services were introduced to improve diagnosis and patient care.

2017

Maternity Wing Opened

Maternal and child healthcare services were expanded to support mothers and newborns.

2023

Community Outreach Expanded
